My story

Hi! My name is Dina, and I recently started a brand of safe dog harnesses. I create all our gear in our own workshop in Bratislava, Slovakia

Our family have two dogs: Bono, a beagle, and Bruno, a mongrel. Bono, the older one, is 14 years old, and Bruno, the younger one, is 3 and a half years old. We rescued both of them from the street.

It all started with Bono. Our first canine behaviorist recommended switching from a regular collar to a prong collar to achieve obedience. I trusted the professional (in 2012, it was the norm), and for years, Bono wore a collar that could cause discomfort or pain. Then, three years ago, we got Bruno, and with him, I discovered modern canine behavior practices and anatomical harnesses. Both of them have been using harnesses ever since. It is heartbreaking to realize that my beloved dog wore inappropriate gear for so long.

For 13 years, I had my own outerwear brand, and for the last 10 years, I have been involved in rescuing animals from the streets. The Bono a Bruno brand combines my experience in design with a fresh perspective on life with pets.

I have studied the subject of proper harnesses very carefully, found the best suppliers of materials and plastic fittings from almost the moon, and invested my knowledge of textile design and love for dogs to create stunning, high-quality, and safe dog harnesses. Now my pets have the best of everything, and I'm happy to offer it to you too!

  • The process of putting on and taking off the harness is comfortable for both dog and person. Easy on/off with buckle

  • 5 adjustment points, which allows for a perfect fit

  • Does not interfere with the natural movement of the dog

  • Has a large size grid, there is an opportunity to choose the most suitable size

  • The harness is made of strong, hard-wearing, yet lightweight materials

Why we offer an anatomical harness?
